Work Flow

START

MedCAD - Custom Surgical Solutions

1. PATIENT SCAN DATA

Each workflow starts with patient scan data. The more accurate the CT, the more accurate the service or product MedCAD can deliver. It is important to distribute our CT Scan Protocol to your respective radiology department to ensure proper scan resolution.

2. SERVICE REQUEST

Once you have patient scan data, the Custom Surgical Solution workflow is initiated by a Service Request that will help you order MedCAD products and upload a CT. The Service Request can be filled out on mobile, tablet, and computer. CT upload typically requires a disc drive.

If sending physical materials (i.e. stone models), please download an order form and FedEx all materials to 501 S 2nd Ave, Ste A-1000, Dallas, TX 75226.

A Surgical Planning Session may take 5-45 minutes depending on surgeon preference and quality of patient data.

4. GET REPORT

Once the plan or product is complete, MedCAD will send a Report for Approval.

Surgeon approval of the plan or products marks the official prescription and initiates manufacturing.
